High density concrete provides value for money and is not cost-prohibitive, as the associated benefits of installing concrete quickly, utilising all available voidage space, preventing confined space working, protection to steel surfaces, sound and vibration damping, ability to recycle at end of use, non-flammable and requiring no removal for inspection, no maintenance offer substantial cost benefits over the lifetime of the asset.
